Chandrakanta, the popular TV series by Neerja Guleri, based on the novel by Devaki Nandan Khatri was one of the top TV serials in the 1990s in India.

This serial was, however, never completed due to financial issues.

Chandrakanta title song, and infact, the lyrics of the theme song was the most loved part of this DoorDarshan TV series.

We will add the title track of Chandrakanta as soon as it is available. You may however, look for the download link of MP3 version on certain websites distributing Indian mp3 music and also on the torrent networks. Videos are available on Youtube as well.

Salman Rushdie’s Satanic Verses is now available for free download.

The novel had caused huge controversy in the Muslim community for what many Muslims believed were blasphemous references.

The novel title refers to what are known as the satanic verses, a bunch of alleged Quranic verses that allowed for prayers of intercession to be made to three Pagan Meccan goddesses

The book was banned in India and was also burned in demonstrations in the UK. In February 1989, following a violent riot against the book in Pakistan, the Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, Supreme Leader of Iran and a Shi’a Muslim scholar, issued a fatwa calling on all good Muslims to kill Rushdie and his publishers, or to point him out to those who can kill him if they cannot themselves.

The latest video that haunted Bipasha Basu is the topless AD being circulated throughout the Internet. It had turned out to the most talked about scandal in the week. The ad shows Bipasha Basu’s breast and thighs for a few seconds as she gets dressed up for her wedding. In one of the scenes, she is also shown aesthetically nude from the behind. Vivek Oberoi is also there in the AD featuring as a prince who comes to marry her. The ad was for New York Lotto, a lottery company in the USA. The tagline of the ad was ‘All You Need is a Dollar and a Dream’.

Bipasha Basu has admitted that she was topless in the ad. However the AD was shot much before she came into mainstream film industry in India.
